Join me at Narasoma Retreat Centre in the peaceful heart of Ubud for a yoga retreat aiming to deeply explore yoga, breath and the well-being.
Narasoma is a purpose built private retreat centre, perfectly located in central Ubud but tucked away and peaceful. We will have exclusive use of the centre building with 8 quality twin share rooms on two floors, a retreat kitchen and a dining area on the ground floor. Each of the twin rooms opens onto a shared spacious balcony overlooking a creek. The bathrooms are generous and there are fans and air-conditioning in each room. The rooms are serviced each day.
After our morning yoga practice we will be served a nourishing and healthy breakfast including lots of delicious tropical fruit.
Narasoma has a well appointed retreat kitchen where you can refill your water bottles with filtered water or you can make a cup of tea or a snack. There is also a big refrigerator which you can use.
Narasoma also has free wi-fi and helpful staff. There is an open tea room where you can purchase drinks and food and there is also a spa where you can enjoy a massage. One of the wonderful things about Narasoma is that it is both quiet and central. A short walk will take you to the most wonderful restaurants, shops and transport.
INCLUDES:
- Six nights accommodation and breakfast at Narasoma.
- Welcome dinner on Monday evening after our first class.
- All yoga classes and the use of mats and props.
PROGRAMME:
We begin our programme with a calming practice on Monday afternoon and conclude after breakfast on Sunday morning. You can check in after 2:00pm and checkout is at 11am. (It may be possible to have a later checkout)
Going on an extended retreat can be very useful. It gives us an opportunity to get out of the habits of our everyday lives, gives us time for inner reflection and gives us a chance to see things with a bit more clarity.
Our practice space is a wonderful wooden framed shala on the roof of our building. A feast for the senses! We will get to feel the soft tropical breeze on our skins while we look out over the foliage of the coconut palms. Yummy!
Retreats should be just that, so you don’t want to get too busy! It’s fortunate that Narasoma provides a perfect environment to relax. There is a lovely pool to cool off in and read your book beside. The gardens are lush and there is always the sound of falling water. Narasoma even has its own meditation cave!
For Bali newbies I can offer advice about fantastic places to eat, about where to get the best massages and suggest some adventures you may like to have while you in Bali.
WHAT PEOPLE SAID AFTER PREVIOUS BALI RETREATS:
“Robyn, the yoga retreat at Narasoma in Ubud was such a wonderful experience, as I already knew it would be as I’ve been to one before, but really, there are no words to fully describe it....it needs to be felt. You were very accommodating and your enthusiasm is addictive....namaste Robyn from us both”. - Anita and Neil (2018)
“Back in Perth but still feeling the good karma and warmth you created and shared Robyn. It was a most wonderful week. Your hard work, wise words and careful planning were amazing.” - Julie (2018)
“I can't thank you enough for allowing me to experience such an amazing retreat - your leadership was wonderful! I'm so glad that I could take part - to share so much with you and our fellow yogi's was incredible. I came away feeling rejuvenated!! I have made plans to set up my special meditation place at home and Tony is going to help out too!! You also gave us all the opportunity to meet other warm loving people - some of whom I know I will stay in touch with in the future….The actual physical environment as well at Narasoma was food for the soul. So calming!” - Annette (2015)
“I have not had such a relaxing holiday since I can remember. I normally trek off to some foreign land and change cities every few days, but this holiday enabled me to get some much needed yoga practice and focus on myself. I got a lot from the heart meditation practices and have come back to Perth with an entirely different view point on life. It’s amazing. I also loved Narasoma.” - Amanda (2015)
“I felt really good all during the retreat and since I have been back - my body feels stretched and easier, and I feel calmer, more grounded and happier. How good is that! You are a wonderful talented teacher and I would love in a couple of years to go to Ubud again. Your style was new to me - suited me perfectly and I enjoyed it. The structure of early meditation breathing exercise and then restorative yoga worked so well. Where we stayed and the food was also perfect. Everyone in the group was so easy to get on with - that is special.” - Wendy (2015)
“Thanks Robyn, I feel so, so much better after the retreat. … I now have so many new tools to help me, honestly, I can't thank you enough. Today I am beginning to set up my yoga/ meditation room at home. Hope that you feel wonderful too (and not too worn out) after all your hard work and enthusiasm to make the retreat such a success.” - Shelly (2015)
"I approached the recent yoga retreat with both excitement and trepidation, unsure of what to expect, but very much looking forward to it. Over the week, in the beautiful surrounds of the retreat centre, I pushed both my body and myself, facing new challenges. Due to Robyn’s marvellous teaching, the calming surrounds and my fellow yogis, I had a fabulous week, ending up with a much more suppler body, a clearer mind and new friends. Since the retreat I have found opportunities to include more yoga in my life, and to approach challenges more positively. I would love to attend another retreat like this." - Janine (2017)
"If you want to immerse and nurture yourself (we tend not to do this) with Yoga - all I can say is “DO IT”. The week spent learning, exploring the mind, body and spirit, laughing and making new friends was amazing. I’ve come back to normal day living but each day I spend time doing breathing and meditation - I see life in a more positive light. Thanks Robyn you are one very special and giving lady." - Tanya (2017)
"It's a few weeks since we returned from Robyn's Ubud retreat and I am still awash with the benefits to body, heart and mind. Immersion in Robyn's approach to Yoga practice has given me that impetus to keep doing 'a little, often'. Robyn is a great instructor, the connection with each other in the group became natural and the retreat location made a wonderfully relaxed break too." - David (2017)
